Busking on the Fitzsimmons Trail

What is Busking on the Fitzsimmons Trail?

Through the picturesque trees, over the Fitzsimmons Creek, and into the Upper Village, Busking on the Fitzsimmons Trail livens up the summer experience in Whistler. Coinciding with the Farmer’s Market in the Upper Village, as well as major events and celebrations in Whistler, Busking on the Fitzsimmons Trail adds colour, music, and vibrancy to the Fitzsimmons Creek and Rebagliati Park area in the summertime.

Take in a variety of family-friendly acts including live music, visual artists, children’s entertainers, balloon artists, caricaturists, and athletic and dance displays.

Buskers are supported by donations from the audience so leave them a token of your appreciation if you see something you like!

How can you get involved?

Stay tuned for permit applications in the spring! All buskers are required to clearly display a current busking permit during their performance at the busking sites to validate their participation in the program. Permits must be obtained through Arts Whistler for which an application and talent showcase process is required.
