Do I need a boat for Art On The Lake?
Water vessels (including inflatable SUPs, kayaks, canoes, unicorns, donuts and other inflatable recreational floats) are recommended for Art On The Lake. New this year for you landlubbers, in response to requests for more on-shore fun we’ve increased the entertainment and activities at Lakeside Park.
Can I rent a boat?
Whistler locals can receive a 40% discount on boat rentals at Backroads (Lakeside Park) on event days. All you need is proof of Whistler residency and proof of work.
Will food be available?
We recommend packing a picnic, snacks or a full-on feast if you’re at Art on the Lake for the full day. On Thursday, August 15, French’eese Whistler will be at Lakeside Park, serving up their delectable, cheesy delights. Then, on Friday, August 16, Whistler Wood Fired Pizza will be on-site, cooking up hot and fresh, mouthwatering pizzas. And don’t forget, Backroads will be there both days to satisfy all your frozen treat cravings.
