For visitors and locals alike, the Whistler Holiday Experience offers a chance to explore a little Whistler magic with the whole family. On now through December 30 from 10am-6pm, get into the holiday spirit and burn off some of that candy cane-fueled energy in the Family Fun Zone! Kids can enjoy a mini-putt course, bouncy castles, crafts, and video games – all for free over Christmas. Too big for the bouncy castle? There’s something special for parents too, like a lounge area with coffee and hot chocolate to warm up after a day on the mountain.

*Whistler Holiday Experience is closed December 25

The fun continues as we ring in the New Year with Whistler Presents New Year’s Eve. Purchase your wristband and explore two action-packed venues featuring activities for the whole family. The Whistler Conference Centre and the Maury Young Arts Centre will have arts, crafts, entertainment, dance parties, live music, and lots more. Top it all off with the free Fire & Ice Show and fireworks in Skiers Plaza! Fireworks kick off at 11:30pm.

INSIDE SCOOP: For little ones (and parents) who can’t keep their peepers open until midnight, take in one of the Early Kids Countdowns, that lets kids experience the excitement of ringing in the New Year AND still make it to bed on time.

Practising your “pizza/french fries” all day can take its toll on little legs. When your wee ones can’t muster another run on Lower Olympic, head over to Family Après at Whistler Olympic Plaza. Mondays and Wednesdays from 3pm-6pm, enjoy a host of outdoor winter activities, live entertainment, arts and crafts, and more. Warm up with a hot chocolate, play on the toboggan run and create family memories this holiday season.

We all know Whistler knows how to après – now the whole family can get in on the fun!

It’s not a Canadian winter without outdoor skating! Park your ski and snowboard boots and pull on a pair of skates for a spin around the ice rink in Whistler Olympic Plaza. Admission is free and skate rentals are only $6 for this postcard holiday experience. Surrounded by the mountains, skate around under the sparkling lights for a holiday experience you won’t soon forget.

Well that one’s a given. Get up there! Shred some gnar pow!

Okay, I’m clearly not cool enough to talk like that. What I mean to say is, get in good turns, take a wander around the Village, and explore the full scope of Whistler this holiday season. Wherever Whistler’s holiday offerings take you, Arts Whistler invites you to enjoy the wonder and magic of the season!

The Whistler Holiday Experience, New Years Eve, Skating at Whistler Olympic Plaza, and Family Apres are funded by the Resort Municipality of Whistler and the Province of BC.
