COVID-19 Update

COVID-1 UPDATE BULLETIN

Updated: March 25, 2020 – Closed until further notice.

TEMPORARY VENUE CLOSURE

Following the recommendations of the Government of Canada, the Maury Young Arts Centre will be closed to the public until further notice. We will update this status based on further recommendations from authorities in regard to the COVID-19 virus. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Stay well!

UPCOMING EVENT POSTPONEMENTS

March 22 – Arts Whistler Live! Comedy Double-header with Charlie Demers and Ivan Decker
We are working with the performers’ agent to reschedule this performance and tickets will be honoured for a later date. If a rescheduled date is not possible, then we will confirm a cancellation directly to existing ticket holders and ticket refunds will be made available. If existing ticket holders can’t make a reschedule show, ticket refunds will also be available.

April 1 and 3 – Anonymous Art Show Preview Night and Buying Night
Arts Whistler is postponing the Anonymous Art Show events until further notice. As we all experience the changing circumstances of the COVID-19 virus, we are making this decision in order to comply with the current directive of the need for social distancing. We ask anyone who has purchased tickets or art buying spots for the Anonymous Art Show to hold onto your tickets. They will remain valid for the rescheduled event. If any existing ticket holders cannot make the rescheduled date, we will offer refunds at that time.

VENUE RENTAL CANCELLATIONS/POSTPONEMENTS

Arts Whistler will work with our third-party event providers to cancel bookings where appropriate and to postpone event reservations, where possible. Arts Whistler is actively contacting venue clients with bookings scheduled for the next few weeks to discuss options and next steps.

Thank you for your understanding and your ongoing support of Arts Whistler.
