Wind Festival For The Arts

Last year, the Wind Festival for the Arts had a historic year with more than 4000 people attending the weekend of arts, culture, and community. In 2019, the Squamish Arts Council is bringing you even more. From amazing workshops to local artists, live performances and a huge artisan market.
AMPED IN THE PARK: EMERGING ARTISTS CONCERT SERIES

Come check out this special edition of Amped in the Park that will feature up and coming performers from the Sea to Sky corridor!
MOVIE UNDER THE STARS
FRIDAY, JULY 19 | 7:30PM – 11:30PM
Come join us for Movie Under the Stars as part of the Squamish Wind Festival! This year’s show will be Mary Poppins Returns, and will start when the sun goes down (9:30pm) but come early with a picnic, grab a blanket and stake your spot! (PRO TIP: Limited priority seating will be available for members of the Squamish Arts Council – sign up now and secure your spot!)
WIND FESTIVAL FOR THE ARTS
SATURDAY, JULY 20 | 10:00AM – 4:00PM
And so the big day arrives! The Saturday of the festival is the main event – an open-air artisan market, live music with headliner Jon and Roy, and art workshops and activities for all ages. Come by to immerse yourself in local arts and culture in Squamish, BC.
- LIVE MUSIC
With lots of great live music going on throughout the festival, there’s sure to be something great for everyone! On the main stage, catch live performances by Jon & Roy, Old Soul Rebel, John Welsh & Los Valientes and more. If you have little ones you can’t miss this year’s children’s performers Ira Pettle and Norman Foote – dancing shoes recommended!
Enjoy the acoustic and rock and roll sounds of Squamish musicians Mat Blackman, Will Ross, Cat Madden at the Locals Corner at Stan Clarke park! See the full schedule and performance times.
- ARTISAN MARKET
Explore amazing local artisan and food vendors. Featuring local wares such as leather items, yarn, custom made jewelry, and more. Don’t miss out on the tasty treats either! Check out the vendors and food trucks.
- LIVE ART DEMONSTRATIONS (10:00AM – 3:00PM)
The Wind Festival for the Arts is all about bringing the beauty of art to the vibrant community of Squamish. Local artists will be holding live art demonstrations and workshops throughout the park.
