Culture Days Community Planning Sessions
Whistler will have the honour of hosting the official opening ceremony for BC Culture Days on Thursday, September 28 at the Audain Art Museum.
On Friday, September 29 through Sunday, October 1, Whistler will present an exciting range of performances, programs, and collective creativity developed from within the community.
Culture Days is a Canada-wide, not-for-profit initiative to raise awareness, and increase participation, access, and engagement of Canadians in the arts & culture of their communities.
Now in its eighth year, Culture Days is Canada’s largest public participation program in the arts & culture – celebrated in every province and territory.

When: Wednesday, May 31, 2017 | 2:00-4:00 pm or 7:00-9:00 pm
Where: Maury Young Arts Centre (formerly Millennium Place)
Who: Everyone in the Whistler area with a passion for arts, culture, and heritage: individual artists in all disciplines – painters, poets, actors, musicians, novelists, quilters, potters, ceramicists, filmmakers, photographers, et al; heritage experts, natural history experts, businesses, media, venue managers, festival planners, volunteers, and all other arts, culture, and heritage enthusiasts
What: Participate in a facilitated workshop to start planning Culture Days in Whistler.
