April 19 marks National Canadian Film Day 150 (NCFD 150), a massive one-day, coast to coast celebration of Canadian cinema in honour of our nation’s sesquicentennial. To celebrate, the Whistler Film Festival in association with Reel Canada and the Squamish Lil’Wat Cultural Centre present a free screening and the Whistler premiere of Nettie Wilde’s award winning KONELĪNE: our land beautiful, a sensual, cinematic celebration of northwestern British Columbia and all the dreamers who move across it. The filmmaker is expected to attend and there will be prizes and giveaways to enjoy. Capacity is limited and available on a first come first serve basis. You can secure a ticket in advance, however you must arrive by 6:45pm to confirm your seat. Doors open at 6:30pm. The film is rated PG and runs 96 minutes.
