Position Description – Arts Whistler – Summer Programs Assistant – 2021
The Summer Programs Assistant, reporting directly to the Supervisor, Venue Sales and Services with some reporting to Manager, Events and Programs (PEM), will directly support the venue services department with Maury Young Arts Centre public visits and customer service as the front desk host during building opening hours.
The Summer Programs Assistant will also support Arts Whistler in administration and operations of The Gallery, Gift Shop; assist with in-person and online programs; and assist with video studio operation for Arts Whistler programs including but not limited to: Whistler Children’s Festival, Art on the Lake… literally and other community programming initiatives.
Full-time, fixed-term position: 30 hours per week, 12 weeks. Must be flexible and willing to work variable hours, some nights, and occasional weekends.
Start date: mid to late June
