GROSSO’S LOVE LETTERS TO SKATEBOARDING: CANADA
From season 10 of Jeff Grosso’s Love Letters to Skateboarding series produced by Vans comes a Canada-centric episode. Grosso visits some of Canada’s most iconic skate spots and catches up with local luminaries, from Joe Buffalo in Ottawa to Rob Boyce in Vancouver. We are treated to a special visit to Montreal to see the ‘Big O’, a large culvert inaccessible in the winter and doggedly refurbished by local skaters every spring so they can get back to the grind. A popular series among skate communities the world over, this episode is a must-see for Canadian skateboarders.

THE TONY ALVA STORY
THE TONY ALVA STORY chronicles Alva’s humble beginnings on the streets of Santa Monica, his rise to superstardom as part of the legendary Z-Boys, an arguably inevitable drug-fuelled implosion, and ultimately his ascension to his rightful place as the godfather of modern-day skateboarding. Talking heads include Stacey Peralta, Gus Van Sant, Josh Brolin, Steve Olson and Jeff Grosso. But the highlight is the candid interview with Alva today, still skating everyday at 60.
