Aimee Todd-Musset: A Sea to Sky local for 25 years, Aimee Todd-Mussett is a self-taught artist who some may liken to a modern day Grandma Moses as she is 55 years old and in her first year of painting. She paints in bold and colourful acrylics depicting Canadian wildlife with expressive eyes, and a little attitude. Her landscapes feature iconic Pemberton scenery, like Mt. Currie and One Mile Lake. Within her landscapes, she sometimes adds people and pets. She is developing a talent and taste for painting impressionist portraits. As a new artist, she looks forward to training in other painting techniques and mediums, including abstraction by training with other local artists. Inspired to be an artist after an Art on the Lake weekend workshop lead by local artist Andrea Mueller, she receives continuing inspiration from the Audain Art Museum where she volunteers.
