The Hearth – Bowen Island Arts Council – invites you to explore the island’s rich and diverse cultural offerings, starting with the Gallery @ Cove Commons, mere steps from the ferry terminal.

The Gallery @ Cove Commons  showcases 10 to 13 exhibits a year, operates the gallery gift shop, with unique offerings from local visual artists, authors and musicians. Stop in for a visit and be greeted by our friendly volunteers and take in the current exhibition and offerings in the gift shop. Check out the art displayed in the Library Annex next door. Explore the many galleries, public art displays, shops and cultural spaces when you visit Bowen Island.

The Hearth – Bowen Island Arts Council operates The Gallery @ Cove Commons, produces a series of literary and musical performances, organizes the Bowen Studio Tours and offers an array of programs and art instruction, circulates a weekly Arts & Cultural Events update and sponsors a diversity of activities and cultural events. Working with partners, the arts council presents Knowing Our Place, a Truth and Reconciliation initiative aimed an enhancing our relationship with our local First Nations. Our various committees are working hard to serve the myriad artists who call Bowen home.View the directory of the myriad artists who call Bowen Island home.
