“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”
– Maya Angelou
Hello Arts Whistler friends,
While we’re all practicing physical isolation, there’s never been a better time to throw yourself into creative adventures and/or creative distractions. So we’re sharing all kinds of creative links, projects, performances, and home-based arts activities to help keep your creativity in tip-top shape.
ONLINE – Local…and global arts!
At Arts Whistler, we love celebrating our local artists, musicians, and makers of all types. Many artists are now sharing their talents through incredible online entertainment, learning channels and artwork. The ingenuity is astounding!
We’re curating creative content on our website and social feeds – a mix of local and global virtual events and creative pursuits.

SHARE YOUR CREATIVITY
Tag us @artswhistler #artswhistler so we can see what you’re up to and we’ll help support you by sharing your live streams, art sales, and online dance parties – creative ideas that you want to share. Feel free to add BC’s creative sector tag #culturedoesntstop.
CONCERNED ABOUT THE ARTS AND EVENTS? Add your voice.
If you work in the creative sector, we’ve pulled together a list of government and arts sector resources for arts professionals, event producers, and self-employed creatives. We’ll continue to update this as more information becomes available. We also encourage you to fill out the CreativeBC survey if your business or employment has been impacted by COVID-19. Assistance and resources for the creative sector
Arts Whistler looks forward to delivering live programming once we’re through this.
In the meantime, we are finding ways to support initiatives like music fundraisers for the Food Bank and other front line heroes. Don’t forget to make noise nightly at 7pm – join us on drums, trumpet, tambourine, handclap, voice or any other joyous noisemaker to celebrate our frontline workers and first responders.
