The Arts Whistler Holiday Market Offers a Chance to Savour the Season

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 24, 2018

One of Whistler’s favourite holiday traditions returns to spread the joy of leisurely exploring the handmade and heartfelt.

WHISTLER, BC – The holidays can be a frantic time for everyone, but the Arts Whistler Holiday Market is returning this year to offer locals and visitors alike a place to take a breath, spend quality time with loved ones, and revel in the magic of the season of good cheer. More than just a market, the two-day event is filled with handcrafted and hand-baked goodness that makes conscious and creative giving easier than ever. It also has plenty of activities for the whole family to spend time together, capturing the spirit of the season.

This year’s Arts Whistler Holiday Market plays host to a wide variety of local vendors, including returning favourites and fresh newcomers. Whistler and the Sea to Sky are bursting with brilliant artisan makers, leading to a record number of vendor applications received this year. As a result, the market will be the place to be to find high-quality handcrafted goods that make giving the perfectly unique gift a breeze.

Bratz Biz is also back again this year with over 30 youth local vendors. These talented students from the Sea to Sky corridor will be offering up their handmade goods, helping the young ones write letters to Santa, and inviting you to get creative yourself with the Bratz Biz craft station.

From festive live music, to hot holiday beverages, tasty baked goods, and locally-made savory eats, Arts Whistler Holiday Market has what you need to fuel your holiday spirit.

Arts Whistler Holiday Market will be at the Whistler Conference Centre on November 24, from 10am-7pm, and November 25, from 10am-5pm. Entry by donation.
