Anne paints in watercolour, acrylic and oil. Her work is inspired by observations of the ever-changing landscape where she lives, whether in Whistler or Mexico. Anne Popma has been a community arts advocate in Whistler for over 20 years. As Chair of the Whistler Arts Council in 2005, she was involved in establishing Whistler Art Workshops on the Lake, which is where she began painting. She now paints daily in her home studio in Whistler Creekside.
