I am an artist inspired by the transitory and transformative in our natural world, whether that be the way shadows ride across the snow in a stand of birches, or fingers of mist search through the valleys of our Sea-to-Sky mountains. I studied Art and Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, and achieved my Masters of Art Conservation at Queen's University. My background leads me to work with rare and difficult materials, combining traditional oil painting with new techniques, sewing into canvas and deconstructing traditional methods.
My works have been exhibited in Canada and internationally, with upcoming shows in Lisbon, Portugal (May 2022) and Toronto (July 2022). I have also been selected for an artist-in-residence at Joya-Arte in Spain for September 2022.
When I'm not at my easel, you can find me snowboarding on the good powder days, swimming in Alta Lake on the warm days, and walking my two crazy rescue dogs in any weather.
