New Year’s Eve Luminosity Parade
Dynamic performances by LED-clad dancers, stilt walkers, and jugglers add an electrifying energy to the procession. The rhythmic beats of accompanying music heighten the senses, creating a multisensory experience that transcends the traditional parade concept. Spectators are encouraged to join the procession, with your lantern crafted at Wintersphere or flashlights, becoming a part of the living canvas that winds its way through Whistler Village.
How to participate in the Luminosity Parade: Gather at the Whistler Conference Centre at 7:45 p.m. with your lantern crafted at Wintersphere, any LED accessories that you might have or simply bring along a flashlight.
Parade route: Whistler Conference Centre to Skier’s Plaza on the Whistler Village Stroll.
Parade spectators: Join the crowd along the Village Stroll to catch the Luminosity parade and be sure to follow the excitement to Skier’s Plaza for the Fire & Ice show!
Parade time: Between 8 – 8:30 p.m. (Please note that the parade’s duration may vary based on weather conditions and the number of participants).
Cost: Free to participate or spectate!
