Public Artist Discussion

April 21 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

The public is warmly invited to join the Audain Art Museum for an informal discussion with participating artists in ‘What Fools These Mortals Be,’ the video installation directed by Adad Hannah that is featured as part of the ‘Otherwise Disregarded’ exhibition.

‘What Fools These Mortals Be’ reimagines Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ as a series of tableaux vivants co-created and performed by 14 formerly-incarcerated women.

This piece was commissioned by The Circle Project, an evolving collaboration of artists and formerly incarcerated women in the Vancouver region dedicated to producing provocative art together.
