Whistler Museum Film Night

Ever wondered what a party in Whistler looked like in the 1970s or what residents did when the lake froze solid but there was no snow for skiing? Thanks to the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation, we’ve been able to digitize many of the 16mm films in our archives and we can’t wait to start sharing them with you! We’ll be starting with some of the films of George Benjamin from the 1970s, ranging from avalanches to dances to ball game.
Our first Film Night will take place at the Whistler Museum on Wednesday, March 20. Tickets are $10 ($5 for Museum members) and will be available at the Museum from Thursday, March 7.
