Mark your calendars for a weekend of action packed fun and creativity for the whole family. The Whistler Children’s Festival is set to hit Whistler Olympic Plaza from July 7-9, 2017. Returning for its 34th year, the weekend kicks off with a free, all-ages Pyjama Party at Whistler Olympic Plaza on Friday, July 7 from 5pm-8pm. Saturday and Sunday feature two full days of live performances, interactive activities, and lots of hands-on creative workshops for kids and families to enjoy.Registration for creative workshops and festival tickets is available online now at whistlerchildrensfestival.com

What is the Whistler Children’s Festival?

The Whistler Children’s Festival is Arts Whistler’s longest-running program and a signature annual event, celebrating its 33rd birthday in 2016. Through experiential learning and immersion in the arts, the Whistler Children’s Festival encourages and facilitates arts exposure and education to kids of all ages. Each summer, the heart of Whistler Village is transformed as tents, balloons, stages, and circus acts populate Whistler Olympic Plaza for the annual Whistler Children’s Festival. Families are encouraged to participate in this weekend of creativity with tons of workshops, live musical performances, and a free activities designed to spark the imagination.
