Ira Pettle is an entertainer, arts educator, and creative now launching his career as a singer/songwriter. His debut record, A Little Bit, fulfills a long-awaited dream to put his love of storytelling into song. Though this is his debut album, Ira is by no means new to entertainment. Having trained as an actor, he is a key player in BC’s performing arts scene, most notably in Whistler, where he was named the 2019 Champion of Arts and Culture at the Whistler Excellence Awards. Known as ‘DJ Ira’ throughout the Sea to Sky corridor, he is already one of Canada’s most sought-after family entertainers and this next chapter of his life’s work is sure to make a big splash across multi-generational audiences. Music has always been a way for Ira to engage and delight audiences of all ages and is at the core of his timing, movement, and expression as a performer. He truly hopes the songs on 'A Little Bit' will bring as much joy to his listeners, as they bring to him.
