My name is Kateryna Gavrovlova -
Ukrainian artist, photographer and ceramist.
Now I live in Canada, Whistler.
I am 32 years old, I have been doing photography for the last 10 years.
In photography, I have positioned myself like a maternity photographer.
Collecting honest life stories of the manifestation of mothers’ unconditional love in various life contexts - is my real passion.

Since the beginning of a full-scale invasion in Ukraine, I started working with clay, as part of therapy, and this is my first project in this field.
These ceramic vessels are simply Containers. This work is a reflection on observations of changes in human bodies-“containers” under the influence of life events, internal experiences and fullness.
About imperfect living and valuable.
As part of the Cult of natural forms, imperfect things and impermanence.
