Nicole Beck – Mana Jewelry Designs
Eco jewelry handcrafted with exotic wood off cuts & bamboo
Mana Jewelry Designs was founded by Nicole Beck, who initially began creating jewelry as a means of making use of the otherwise unused exotic wooden off-cuts from exquisitely crafted high-end guitars and ukeleles that we being hand-made by a close friend in Maui. with a background in graphic design and a lifelong passion for fashion, Nicole began utilizing these magnificent pieces of Hawaiian curly koa wood, and skillfully re-purposing them into a variety of natural and modern jewelry designs. though its foundation was built using these instrumental Hawaiian off-cuts, mana jewelry designs has now expanded its repertoire of timbers to include sustainably harvested bamboo and a variety of locally sourced and salvaged cascadian hardwoods. each piece is individually hand sawn and laser cut into intricate designs before being delicately sanded and finished to highlight the spectacular underlying wood grains and textures.
