Anonymous Art Show

A record breaking ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ” pieces of art were chosen off the walls and taken to their new homes! We also raised $๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘,๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ๐Ÿ• from our 40 More Years Silent Auction ๐ŸŽ‰ These funds will go directly towards supporting Arts Whistler programs such as the Whistler Children’s Festival, Art on the Lake and Teeny Tiny Art Show.

To our Anonymous Art Show buyers, sponsors, year-round funders and volunteers – thank you for believing in the arts and for helping us bring our creative community together.
A huge thank you to our participating artists for lending your artistic talents to provide hundreds of pieces of AMAZING artwork. There wouldn’t be an Anonymous Art Show without you!
Congratulations to Dailia Shehata whose piece was chosen first, and Susie Cipolla and Lad Haines, whose artwork was picked in the silver and bronze categories.

About Anonymous Buying Night

The Anonymous Art Show Buying Night is the first opportunity to well… buy any of the Anonymous artwork! At the Buying Night, there is no pre-set price for each 8×8 inch work. Yet, by the end of the evening, some work will sell for $50 and others $500.

That’s because you don’t buy a particular piece of art; you buy an “art choosing spot” in an art tier. One spot is equal to one piece of art. The tier you purchase into determines the order in which you get to choose your art. This means the lower the art buying tier price you choose, the longer into the night you have to wait to select the art you want, and the greater the risk that someone else could take your favourite piece! Luckily we live in such a creative and talented community so all the artwork is fabulous.
