FALL = ARTS SEASON
Be Loud. Act Out. Get Messy!
Be Loud. Act Out. Get Messy! Fall for Arts showcases all things arts and culture – including art markets, creative workshops, major festivals, exhibit openings, art galleries, heritage walks, local music, and film nights. Whistler’s second season of Fall for Arts now includes events throughout the Sea to Sky, so there’s even more to explore.
Whistler’s autumn season is rich with popular festivals like the Whistler Village Beer Festival, Cornucopia, Whistler Film Festival, and the Whistler Writers Festival. Arts Whistler is thrilled to partner with our local festivals, community groups, galleries, and businesses. After its successful launch last year, Hear and Now – Whistler’s Local Music Festival presents the Sea to Sky’s best musical performers. BC Culture Days shines bright in Whistler with the Audain Art Museum hosting the official launch for the annual provincial celebration, and plenty is planned throughout the Cultural Connector, linking the venues with events, special celebrations, and self-guided tours for the seasoned local and visitors alike. Throw in the hottest ski films, add some culinary delights and there really is something for everyone.
Fall for Arts kicks off with a bang August 31 through the long weekend. Four days of festivities and plenty of free activities mark this weekend as the perfect transition from summer to arts season. For more information on the opening weekend visit artswhistler.com/fallforarts
